Portfolio film review. Activity 4.

Clockwork orange
Clockwork Orange is classic and very interesting movie directed and produced by Stanley Kubrick in 1971, based on the book with the same name, written by the English author Anthony Burgess and released in 1962.
“Clockwork orange” is a movie in which Alex DeLarge (Malcolm McDowell), a guy who took part in a rebel gang which went around the city committing vandalisms against rich, prestigious people and authorities, finally gets caught by the police and ends up in jail, where he is submitted to a new procedure where scientists and psychologists engage to “cure” his evilness with a special serum and procedure. They employ this new cure on him and when he gets out of jail, he encounters a lot of people who he and his gang had hurt or challenged, so these people start getting revenge on him.
I really enjoyed this movie, although, it is aimed towards a certain group of people, due to the darkness and goriness within it. If you like weird, classic, and good movies, you should definitely watch this film.

    Reflection.
    What I learned from this activity is that I can really always investigate a lot more of what I think I know because there are always more and more interesting details that gat lost or ignored while watching only the movie.

Have you ever felt the social pressure of needing to go to parties jut to fit in? Because I believe we all have. Nowadays, teens feel like they have the obligation to go to parties every week; parties which end at 4 am., and in which you are pressured into drinking, dancing or “having fun”, etc. This topic has turned into a lifestyle for many teens. 6 out of 10 teens go to parties every week, and some of those who don´t, is because their parents won´t let them. Present and future inspire me, because everything you do in the present, is going to have an impact in the future, so people have to do the things that inspire them in order to progress. I would invite Vincent Van Gogh, because he was such a misunderstood person, yet such a revolutionary figure which is still a mystery; I would ask him what kept him going.
